The Pregnancy Support Center of Carroll County is an organization dedicated to providing free medical services and resources to pregnant women. We provide a safe, confidential environment; one-on-one consultation; and the information necessary to make an empowered, informed decision. All services offered by PSC are FREE and Confidential. There are no income requirements for any of our services. PSC operates under the supervision of a medical director.  Services include:  Pregnancy Testing Limited Obstetrical Ultrasounds One-on-One Consultations (needs assessment and options counseling) Connection to a wide range of community services to help address specific needs (homelessness, mental health, addiction, intimate partner violence, rape, continuing education,medical insurance, etc.  We are proud of the network that we have built and the many partnerships that we have within our community. One-on-one parenting classes utilizing Brightcourse. Over 100 classes designed to meet the unique situation of each parent. Clients select the classes that best match their needs. These classes are for first time parents as well as those who already have children. Some topics offered are :  Healthy pregnancyLabor and deliverySafe sleepCar seat safetyBreastfeedingManaging challenges of a blended familyPotty trainingToddler tantrumsFinancesAnd much more! After completing requirements of the Parenting Class Program, mothers and fathers receive a free brand new car seat and a shopping spree in our Baby Boutique (all brand new items) to help them prepare for their new arrival. PSC also offers Material Assistance for before and after the pregnancy: Maternity clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, children's clothing. There are no participation/income requirements to receive material assistance. The goal of PSC is to support mothers, fathers and other caregivers in any way that we can, helping them feel well prepared in their role as parents and promoting strong, healthy families.
