Carroll Hospice offers quality and compassionate hospice care to terminally ill individuals and support to their families in Carroll, Baltimore and Frederick counties and in Pennsylvania. Our program offers all components of hospice care, including medical and nursing care, counseling, and spiritual and bereavement support for family and friends. We provide hospice care directly, and in cooperation with, a patient’s physician and family in a loving environment—most often the patient’s home, which can be a private residence or long term care facility. Care may also be provided at our inpatient facility, the Dove House. An affiliate of Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health Center, Carroll Hospice is a private, nonprofit organization that is certified by Medicare and licensed by the State of Maryland to provide hospice care. Carroll Hospice is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP). CHAP accreditation publicly certifies that an organization has voluntarily met the highest standards of excellence for home and/or community-based health care.
