Job Type: Part-Time to Full-Time

Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience

Blue Kangaroo Packoutz of Annapolis/Frederick is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Content Cleaning Technician to join our growing team.

In this role, you will help clean, restore, organize, pack, and prepare customers’ personal belongings following water, fire, smoke, and other property losses. Our team handles everything from everyday household items to delicate, sentimental, and high-value belongings, so attention to detail and proper care are extremely important.

Responsibilities

• Clean and restore household contents affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other losses
• Sort, clean, pack, wrap, label, and organize contents
• Follow established cleaning procedures and properly handle cleaning products and equipment
• Carefully handle delicate, valuable, and sentimental items
• Assist with contents inventory and documentation
• Load and unload contents safely
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment
• Assist with pack-outs, storage, and pack-backs as needed
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, contractors, and other professionals
• Perform other duties related to contents restoration as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, restoration, moving, warehouse, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable lifting, carrying, and moving household items
• Ability to work in different environments, including homes, businesses, warehouses, and properties affected by damage
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Must be willing to learn and follow company procedures
